The Consul-General of Brazil in Chicago and two Brazilian economic development institutions, Amcham Brasil and Apex-Brasil, joined forces to present a webinar series called “Radiography of the Midwestern States of the US.” It is geared toward businesses and investors based in Brazil who are interested in branching out internationally and offering them relevant information about the economic potential of working in the Midwest. Especially in terms of bringing more investment and partnerships between Brazilian companies and ones in Indiana and Illinois.
Indiana is among the states with the largest automobile and medtech industries and is making a name for itself as a growing tech hub. These factors make Indiana an attractive place to bring more businesses in these sectors since we have the infrastructure in place and a trained workforce. Discussions are currently taking place to create a plan for fostering a relationship between Brazilian and US companies to create stronger economic ties.
