New Changes at the Brazilian Consulate in Chicago

Beth Adams

There’s a new guy in town at the Brazilian Consulate in Chicago. Benoni Belli became the new Consul General on August 29, 2020. Having been a career diplomat for several decades, he’s worked to build relationships between Brazil and the United States as well as other countries.

In an effort to adhere to Covid recommendations, the consulate is not open to the general public and now working by appointment only. However, they’re also offering certain services online or via mail. For more information and to check how to request the services you need, visit http://chicago.itamaraty.gov.br/en-us/
